Where are you located?

Headquartered in Holly Hill, Florida, Art Experts, Inc. has office representatives in Florida, Washington, D.C. and Ohio, as well as in Canada and many other countries worldwide.

Do you have an expert in my city or state?

Perhaps not, but that's by no means a hindrance. If you would like us to review a piece of artwork, simply email us digital photos of the front AND back of it. Make sure to include an image of the artist's signature, the full dimensions of the piece, as well as any relevant information or documentation you have about it. Please send your submissions to info@artexpertswebsite.com.

Do you write certificates of authenticity?

Yes, if after our investigation we believe the case for authenticity is sound, we will issue a certificate of authenticity (COA). Certificates are accompanied by a thoroughly researched report. We also issue certificates of attribution, appraisals, ID certificates and some other documents.

How can you authenticate my painting without seeing it?

Fortunately, digital photography allows us to see your painting perfectly. In fact, we're able to see it better digitally than if we were looking at it with a spotlight and loupe.

How can I tell if my painting is authentic?

You can only know by consulting with experts. Determining if a painting is authentic requires advanced knowledge, specialized study, certain methodologies, analysis and research, as well as the application of forensic science-all of which Art Exerts, Inc. provides to the highest degree.

Should I send my artwork to you?

No. We will not accept any mailed or delivered artwork without prior consent. In-home visits can often be arranged. The first step: simply email us digital photos of the front AND back of it. Make sure to include an image of the artist's signature, the full dimensions of the piece, as well as any relevant information or documentation you have about it. Please send your submissions to info@artexpertswebsite.com.

Do you need to travel to see the painting?

Probably not. We find that only about 10 percent of paintings need to be physically examined. Before this would happen, some research and analysis has to be done. The first step: simply email us digital photos of the front AND back of it. Make sure to include an image of the artist's signature, the full dimensions of the piece, as well as any relevant information or documentation you have about it. Please send your submissions to info@artexpertswebsite.com.

If I bring you the painting can you tell me if it is authentic?

No. Authenticating a work of art takes more than a cursory evaluation. The first step: simply email us digital photos of the front AND back of it. Make sure to include an image of the artist's signature, the full dimensions of the piece, as well as any relevant information or documentation you have about it. Please send your submissions to info@artexpertswebsite.com.

How can you tell if my painting is authentic from a digital picture?

Digital pictures, combined with image analysis software, are an extremely powerful scientific examination tool. Digital image technology shows details on high-definition monitors that we never saw before with the naked eye and a magnifying glass.
