Kevin Jeremiah O'Keeffe was born in Jersey, the Channel Islands, situated 14 miles from the coast of France.
He was educated at De La Salle College, St.Helier, Jersey and also attended the UCLA Business School in California.
Kevin started collecting art and watches at an early age; this passion grew into a business and upon returning to Jersey in 1990 he set up his first gallery specialising in Fine Art & Vintage timepieces
After 3 years he moved to a more central location in the centre of St.Helier's business district, catering to overseas and local collectors. In 1995 he opened a second gallery in the picturesque village of St Aubin, in Jersey.
In 2000 he travelled to New Zealand with his family for a vacation and liked what he saw. He felt New Zealand was an ideal place for his young family.
He has attended fairs and auctions in Europe and the USA for the past twenty five years and established a successful gallery, Jeremiah's in Parnell, Auckland.
With an especially keen eye, Kevin has uncovered a number of significant works over the years and his all-encompassing enthusiasm and knowledge fit him well for the role.
