Giuseppe Cades was an 18^th century Italian painter. He was greatly admired for his drawings and created beautiful compositions in red and black chalk, pastels, pen and watercolor. He supported himself as a young man with his drawings alone. He traveled to Rome and created many finished and highly regarded drawings there as well.
