Italian-born Gio Colucci came to Paris in
the late 1920s and quickly received recognition for his
art. Mainly a painter, Colucci also worked in ceramics
and glass, and even did book illustrations. His style
was Cubist/Expressionist and he painted in very earthy
tones of yellow, red and brown. |
