Michele-Francoise Dandre-Bardon was an
18th century French painter who studied at the Academie
Royale. Dandre-Bardon took second prize at the Prix de
Rome, which enabled him to live in Rome for five years,
as well as in Venice. Dandre-Bardon became an Assistant
Professor at the Academie Royale, and was also put in
charge of the decoration for the royal galleries at
Marseilles. |
