Mythological Sketch
Gaetano Gandolfi was an 18th century Italian painter. He was the brother of Ubaldo Gandolfi, a fellow painter, and lived for a brief period in Venice . Though he was best known for his frescoes, Gandolfi also left behind a number of beautifully detailed sketches, as well as portraits.
