Jean Baptiste Pillement was an 18th century French painter. He mainly painted in the Rococo style and was famous for his landscape paintings and decorations.

Pillement was born in Lyon to a family of painters. He studied under Daniel Sarrabat and worked for the Gobelins Factory as a young man. Pillement found great success as an artist, and was the official painter of many nobles, including Marie Antoinette.
