Paul Troger was an 18th century Austrian painter. He mainly painted religious scenes, portraits and genre scenes in the Baroque style. Troger’s style has a markedly Italian influence to it, and he was also a talented fresco painter. In fact, many regard Troger as one of the leading Austrian artists of his day, and one of the foremost talented fresco painters of his time in Europe. |
