Aristides E. Arche-Unshelm is the son of famous Cuban painter, Jorge-Arche (1905-1956). Mr. Arche-Unshelm was born in Cuba in 1936, graduated from La Salle high school in 1953, and earned a degree in architecture from the University of Havana in 1962. He moved to Spain in 1966, then on to Puerto Rico, and finally to Miami where he obtained his license to practice architecture in Florida. He ran his own practice for 24 years. Mr. Arche-Unshelm moved to Panama in 2000 where he currently lives with his wife Susan. He is an expert in the works of his father.
