France. Francoise Deniaux lives in France and is an internationally recognized painting restorer and pigment chemistry analyst. She has been the official French expert on the paintings of Maurice Le Scouezec (1881-1940) for a quarter of a century. Deniaux is a fourth generation art restorer and has studied with world-renowned Louvre curators. Deniaux has also been a member of the United Nations certified experts group, Ordinix, for the past twenty years.
Deniaux 's restorations have included important works by Rembrandt, Chardin, Delacroix, Gauguin, Poussin, Foujita, Morel Fatio, Mathurin Meheut, de Belay, Desire Lucas, Jules Noel, and Vernet. Her work is shown every year at the Brest and Quimper antique shows, and she is the author of a soon-to-be published catalogue raisonne of the work of Maurice Le Scouezec. |
