Professor Grossvogel is a consultant to Christie's, Sotheby's, private galleries and collectors regarding the works of Claude-Emile Schuffenecker. She is the author of the catalogue raisonné and has also also written and lectured on Gauguin and Schuffenecker and on the van Gogh forgeries. She received her PhD from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. She spends her time between Chicago, Illinois and Nice, France.
