France. Marie-Annick Hamonet lives in France and is the granddaughter of French Impressionist painter, Leon Hamonet (1877-1953). Miss Hamonet was born in Rennes, France, and received her doctorate in English and Medicine from Sorbonne in Paris. She focused her studies on the history of medicine. Miss Hamonet currently teaches at the University of Paris IV, and spends much of her time organizing exhibitions of her grandfather’s work in Paris, Rennes, and his birthplace, Erquy. She has comprised a Catalog Raisonne of her grandfather’s work, which she confirms is increasing in value at auction each year.
