Hattie Elizabeth Burdette was a 20th century American artist. She was born and died in Washington D.C., and was known for her paintings of famous American historical icons.
Burdette studied with Harold McDonald at the Norwood Institute, and mainly painted portraits, still life paintings and miniatures. Today, many of her paintings are housed in prestigious government collections, such as the U.S. Navy Department and the Florida State College for Women.
