Lovro Marinov Dobričević was a Venetian artist born in Kotor, Montenegro. Dobričević is best known for his altarpieces in the Dominican and Franciscan monasteries of Dubrovnik. While he spent most of his career working in or near Dubrovnik, he was trained in Venice alongside Michele Giamboni.

Dobričević used a traditional technique of the time, painting with tempera on cedar. His level of skill and mastery of painting religious subjects meant that he received numerous commissions. By the 1450s, he opened a workshop that facilitated a number of projects.

Dobričević had an artistic family, as his wife and two sons Vicko and Marin Lovro were also painters.
