Richard Sagrits was an Estonian painter from Karepa, Estonia. Sagrits began his studies at Rakvere Gymnasium before enrolling at the State School of Arts in Tallinn. Sagrits started in a theater program before transitioning to the graphic arts. With the support of his parents, Sagrits entered the Art School of Pallas.

Sagrits produced a wide body of work, ranging from landscapes and seascapes to children’s illustrations and folkloric graphics. Sagrits was active in Northern Estonia as well as in his country’s capital. The Karepa Kalame Farm Museum was eventually erected to honor of Sagrits. It stands in Sagrit’s birthplace.
