Jacopo occasionally collaborated with Alessandro Tiarini and trained younger students Virgilio Zaballi and Felice Ficherell. Jacopo died in Florence where he was buried at the Basilica di San Lorenzo. His paintings are now in Europe’s finest museums, including the Louvre in Paris, the Uffizi in Florence, and the Kunsthistorisches in Vienna. Jacopo da Empoli is certainly an important figure in Italian art history.
