Whenever reliable information exists online, AI can scan, locate, and organize it in moments. This significantly reduces the time required to gather published materials, references, or documented data.

These are technical readings, not interpretations, and they provide our experts with a deeper technical foundation for analysis. Why Human Judgment Is Irreplaceable
Most valuable art-historical knowledge cannot be reached by AI at all. Archives, private collections, library holdings, and rare documents still require traditional research methods and hands-on study.
Just as importantly, interpretation is a human responsibility. AI cannot understand meaning, context, or artistic intention—and when prompted to guess, it produces fabricated answers (“hallucinations”). For this reason, we use AI only where its output is factual, measurable, and verifiable.
All AI findings are reviewed by our specialists. The technology contributes data, but never determines the outcome of an authentication. Every final judgment is reached by qualified experts who evaluate all available evidence: technical, historical, material, and digital.
We issue certificates of authentication only when our experts can confirm conclusions with certainty—not when a system calculates odds or probabilities.
